Mount Shasta's Best Western Plus Tree House is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Housekeeper to join our team! In this vital role, you will ensure that guest rooms and common areas are spotless, well-maintained, and inviting. Duties
- Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and surface sanitation to ensure a pristine environment.
- Handle laundry duties such as washing, drying, folding, and organizing linens and towels efficiently.
- Maintain cleanliness in public areas including hallways, lobbies, restrooms, and outdoor spaces by implementing proper janitorial procedures.
- Use cleaning equipment and detergents safely and effectively to clean carpets, floors, windows, and surfaces.
- Manage time effectively to complete assigned tasks within designated schedules while maintaining high-quality standards.
- Assist with heavy lifting tasks related to moving furniture or supplies as needed while following manual handling safety protocols.
- Communicate professionally with guests regarding their needs or concerns to enhance customer satisfaction.
Requirements
- Proven experience in residential or commercial cleaning, hospitality housekeeping, or janitorial roles is preferred.
- Knowledge of cleaning procedures including sanitation standards and floor care techniques.
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuums, and carpet cleaners safely.
- Strong time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks efficiently.
- Physical stamina for heavy lifting, manual handling, outdoor work, and standing for extended periods.
- Excellent customer service skills with a friendly attitude toward guests and team members.
- Experience with cleaning surfaces using various detergents and disinfectants while adhering to safety protocols.
- Previous experience in hotel or residential housekeeping is a plus.
