Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Housekeeping Award Winner to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness, sanitation, and overall appearance of guest rooms and public areas. Your dedication to exceptional service will ensure our guests experience a welcoming, spotless environment that reflects our commitment to quality and hospitality.

Duties

• Perform thorough cleaning of guest rooms, including dusting, vacuuming, floor care, and bathroom sanitation using appropriate cleaning equipment and chemical agents.
• Handle chemical agents safely by following safety data sheets (SDS) guidelines and proper chemical handling procedures.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces with attention to detail.
• Utilize janitorial equipment efficiently for tasks like heavy lifting, manual handling, and industrial cleaning to ensure high standards of sanitation.
• Restock supplies in guest rooms and public areas while adhering to hotel housekeeping management protocols.
• Follow hotel emergency procedures promptly in case of incidents or safety concerns, ensuring guest safety at all times.
• Provide excellent customer service by addressing guest requests courteously and professionally, enhancing their overall experience.

Requirements

• Proven hotel housekeeping experience or custodial experience with a focus on hospitality standards.
• Knowledge of floor cleaning techniques, sanitation practices, and the use of cleaning equipment.
• Ability to handle chemical agents responsibly while maintaining safety data sheet (SDS) compliance.
• Physical ability for heavy lifting, vacuuming, manual handling, and industrial cleaning tasks throughout shifts.
• Strong customer service skills with a friendly attitude towards guests and team members.
• Familiarity with hotel emergency procedures and safety protocols is preferred.
• Experience in hotel housekeeping management or janitorial operations is advantageous.
• A proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards and ensuring guest satisfaction.
