Responsibilities
- Clean and sanitize guest rooms, bathrooms, hallways, lobbies, and other public areas with precision and efficiency.
- Change linens, make beds, replenish amenities, and ensure all surfaces are spotless.
- Perform floor care duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and polishing to maintain pristine flooring conditions.
- Handle janitorial tasks such as waste removal, restocking supplies, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces regularly.
- Conduct routine inspections to identify maintenance issues or safety hazards and report them promptly.
- Follow established cleaning protocols using appropriate cleaning agents and equipment to ensure compliance with health standards.
- Assist in managing inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment to maintain operational readiness.
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services; hotel experience is highly preferred.
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including carpet cleaning, waxing, and polishing.
- Strong understanding of hospitality standards and customer service principles.
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks such as lifting heavy objects, standing for extended periods, and bending frequently.
- Familiarity with industrial cleaning tools and safety procedures for maintaining a safe work environment.
- Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to identifying areas needing improvement or maintenance.
- Prior housekeeping management experience is a plus but not required; a positive attitude and eagerness to learn are essential.
