Responsibilities

• Thoroughly clean and sanitize guest rooms, including making beds, dusting, vacuuming, and replenishing supplies to ensure a fresh and inviting environment.
• Maintain cleanliness of public areas such as lobbies, hallways, restrooms, and common spaces by sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting surfaces.
• Handle laundry duties efficiently by washing, folding, and organizing linens and towels to support hotel operations.
• Report any maintenance issues or damages discovered during cleaning to the appropriate department for prompt resolution.
• Follow all safety protocols and proper cleaning procedures to ensure a safe environment for guests and staff alike.
• Use specialized floor care equipment to maintain carpets, tiles, and other flooring types in excellent condition.
• Assist with inventory management by tracking cleaning supplies and requesting replenishments as needed.

Skills

• Proven experience in cleaning, janitorial work, or hospitality housekeeping roles with a strong understanding of cleaning techniques.
• Knowledge of floor care methods including carpet cleaning, polishing tiles, and maintaining various flooring surfaces.
• Previous hotel experience or custodial background preferred; familiarity with hospitality standards is a plus.
• Ability to perform industrial cleaning tasks efficiently using commercial-grade equipment.
• Excellent attention to detail with a proactive approach to maintaining cleanliness standards across multiple areas.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
