We are seeking a proactive and skilled Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic hotel team. Responsibilities
- Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems, electrical equipment, plumbing, and building interior components to ensure operational efficiency.
- Repair and troubleshoot electrical systems using schematics, electrical equipment repair techniques, and tools such as ohmmeters.
- Conduct welding, carpentry, painting, and general facilities maintenance to uphold building standards and safety regulations.
- Maintain facilities equipment including HVAC units, plumbing systems, hand tools, and mechanical components with precision and care.
- Use CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) to document work orders, track maintenance activities, and schedule future repairs.
- Supervise or assist with maintenance painting projects and interior repairs to enhance the aesthetic appeal of the facility.
- Collaborate with team members on complex repair projects involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), schematics reading, or electrical troubleshooting.
- Ensure compliance with safety protocols during all maintenance activities while providing excellent customer service to internal stakeholders.
Requirements
- Proven experience in facilities maintenance or related roles within manufacturing or residential environments.
- Strong mechanical knowledge complemented by hands-on skills with hand tools, electrical work, plumbing system maintenance, and HVAC system repair.
- Familiarity with schematics, electrical equipment repair, plumbing repairs, and building interior maintenance techniques.
- Experience working with CMMS software for work order management and documentation.
- Ability to read technical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings accurately.
- Knowledge of maintenance painting techniques including residential painting standards.
- Supervising experience is a plus; leadership skills are highly valued for team coordination.
- Excellent communication skills in English for clear documentation and collaboration with team members.
- Certifications or experience with welding, HVAC systems (including HVAC system repair), programmable logic controllers (PLCs), ohmmeters, and electrical equipment repair are highly desirable.
