Landscaping and Maintenance Person
We are seeking a dependable, hardworking Landscaping and Maintenance Person to help with lawn care, snow removal, and general property maintenance. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working outdoors, takes pride in keeping properties clean and well maintained, and is comfortable performing a variety of hands-on tasks.
Responsibilities
· Perform routine lawn care, including mowing, trimming, edging, raking, and general grounds cleanup.
· Assist with landscaping tasks such as mulching, planting, pruning, weeding, and maintaining outdoor areas.
· Provide snow removal services during winter months, including shoveling, salting, and operating snow removal equipment when needed.
· Complete minor maintenance repairs such as basic carpentry, painting, light equipment repairs, and general property upkeep.
· Operate and maintain lawn care and maintenance equipment safely and responsibly.
· Keep sidewalks, driveways, parking areas, and common areas clean and safe.
· Report maintenance concerns, equipment issues, or safety hazards to management.
Qualifications
· Previous landscaping, lawn care, snow removal, or maintenance experience is preferred, but willing to train the right candidate.
· Ability to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
· Must be reliable, punctual, and able to work independently or as part of a team.
· Ability to lift, carry, bend, kneel, and perform physical labor throughout the workday.
· Basic knowledge of hand tools, power tools, lawn equipment, and snow removal equipment is helpful.
· Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation preferred.
Schedule and Compensation
Schedule may vary depending on season, weather, and workload. Snow removal may require early mornings, evenings, weekends, or on-call availability during winter weather events. Pay will be based on experience.
