About The Role
Best Point Education & Behavioral Health is seeking a highly organized and mission-driven Education Administrative Assistant to support our education programs. This role provides essential administrative and front-desk support while serving as a key liaison among staff, families, school districts, and community partners.
In addition to supporting day-to-day building and program operations, this position provides administrative support, ensuring accurate client records, compliance with documentation requirements, and a positive experience for clients and families.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support
Exposed to a combination of office, school, and mental health treatment environments. Exposed to clients with behavior problems. May be exposed to shouting and clients who are upset.

This role provides essential administrative and front-desk support while serving as a key liaison among staff, families, school districts, and community partners.
In addition to supporting day-to-day building and program operations, this position provides administrative support, ensuring accurate client records, compliance with documentation requirements, and a positive experience for clients and families.
Key Responsibilities Administrative Support
- Create, maintain, audit, and close client records in compliance with accreditation standards.
- Maintain accurate client information across all department software and data systems.
- Prepare program forms, reports, and routine correspondence; proofread for accuracy and professionalism.
- Track documentation timelines to ensure compliance and timely reviews.
- Schedule meetings including IEPs, behavior meetings, and program-related meetings.
- Maintain daily client attendance records.
- Notify Finance of client withdrawals and review monthly billing reports for enrollment accuracy.
- Prepare meeting agendas and minutes as assigned.
- Support centralized switchboard and front desk operations as needed.
- Serve as a liaison between administrators, public school systems, families, and community agencies.
- Maintain records of key communications and correspondence.
- Collaborate with other education and agency administrative assistants to share resources and ensure department needs are met.
- Participate in agency or department committees as assigned.
- Represent Best Point with professionalism and a strong customer-service focus at all times.
- Stay informed of agency-wide updates, staffing changes, and operational needs.
- Maintain confidentiality in all client interactions.
- Provide a welcoming, professional experience for clients, visitors, and staff in person and by phone.
- Enforce building access and security protocols.
- Troubleshoot and resolve visitor or front-desk concerns as they arise.
- Assist with activities celebrating client success and milestones.
- Serve as a positive role model, promoting appropriate social skills, emotional regulation, and boundaries.
- Administer medication in accordance with agency policies and procedures.
- Maintain cumulative client records and required educational documentation (ETRs, IEPs, transcripts, report cards).
- Process and distribute report cards and progress reports to families and school districts.
- Track assessment and testing data accurately.
- Attend required trainings and professional development opportunities.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or GED required
- Minimum of two (2) years professional office experience
- Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
- Proficient in Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Experience in an educational setting strongly preferred
