What You’ll Do
As a Masters-Level Behavioral Health Intern, you will work under the supervision of an independently licensed counselor or social worker to provide mental health services tailored to children and families. This is a hands-on role where you’ll gain experience in multiple settings and learn best practices in clinical care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct individual, group, and family therapy (agency-based and community-based)
- Develop treatment plans and facilitate interventions
- Complete diagnostic assessments and evaluate client progress
- Assist with crisis management and stabilization
- Maintain accurate documentation and reports
- Collaborate with internal teams and community resources
- Attend supervision and professional development trainings
What We’re Looking For
- Current enrollment in a Master’s program in Social Work, Counseling, or related field
- Certification (CT or SWT) required
- Strong commitment to cultural awareness and best practice models
