Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Product Engineer specializing in Automated Test Equipment (ATE) to support the complete product lifecycle of advanced networking and data center semiconductor products. The role involves driving New Product Introduction (NPI), yield improvement, product characterization, manufacturability, quality enhancement, and production release while collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
The ideal candidate should possess strong expertise in semiconductor product engineering, ATE development, silicon debug, yield analysis, and production ramp for complex SoCs.
Key Responsibilities
- Own the complete product lifecycle from New Product Introduction (NPI) through Mass Production Release (MPR).
- Lead product characterization, qualification, yield ramp, and manufacturing readiness activities.
- Develop and optimize ATE test solutions using Advantest V93K and/or Teradyne platforms.
- Perform silicon debug, failure analysis, root cause investigation, and corrective action implementation.
- Drive yield improvement, product quality enhancement, and manufacturing cost optimization.
- Collaborate with Design, DFT, DFM, Process, Packaging, Reliability, and Test Engineering teams.
- Support multiple test insertions including Wafer Sort, Final Test, and System Level Test (SLT).
- Analyze characterization and production data using statistical techniques and data analytics tools.
- Drive manufacturability improvements for advanced networking and data center semiconductor products.
- Lead cross-functional technical discussions to resolve complex product engineering challenges.
- Prepare technical reports and executive-level presentations for engineering reviews.
- Support strategic initiatives focused on product performance, quality, schedule, and operational efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline with 10 years of semiconductor industry experience.
OR
- Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related field with 5 years of relevant experience.
- Strong experience in semiconductor Product Engineering.
- Proven experience supporting production from NPI through Mass Production.
- Experience working with advanced networking, Ethernet, server, or data center semiconductor products.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing and production environments.
