You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC Lathes to produce precision parts and assemblies.

Job Summary
We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented CNC Machinist to join our second shift production team. If you have a passion for precision, a "measure twice, cut once" mentality, and the ability to turn raw materials into high-quality components, we want to hear from you. You’ll be responsible for setting up and operating a variety of CNC Lathes to produce precision parts and assemblies.
Key Responsibilities
- Read and interpret technical blueprints, sketches, and 2D/3D CAD drawings to understand specific requirements.
- Setup, program, and operate Hurco and Mazak CNC lathes
- Use precision measuring tools (micrometers, calipers, depth gauges) to ensure all parts meet tolerances
- Detect and report defective materials or questionable conditions
- Perform basic maintenance activities such as PM checks, coolant changes, and filter changes
- Maintain work area and equipment in a clean orderly condition
- Assist in other work areas as needed.
- Perform all other duties, as assigned.
- 4 years setting up and programming Lathes. Primarily working with Hurco. DMG Mori or Mazak experience is a plus.
- Machining metal parts holding tolerances as tight as 0.0005 in. (typical tolerances /-0.002 in.)
- Strong basic math skills
- Ability to lift/push/pull objects up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods
- High school diploma or equivalent; completion of a vocational program or apprenticeship is a plus
- This is a second shift position working Monday – Friday 3:30 PM to 1:00 AM.
- Scheduled shift includes 5 hours of overtime. Changes in the amount of overtime may be made to support our customers.
- Wages range from $22 to $28 based on experience and ability (plus $1.00 shift premium)
