Benefits Administration Responsibilities
The Benefit Specialist oversees a comprehensive range of employee benefits, including medical, dental, vision, life insurance, disability, and 401(k) plans. Key responsibilities include ensuring accurate data entry and eligibility verification for all benefit programs. The role involves processing new-hire orientations, addressing benefits inquiries, and managing claims. The Benefit Specialist is also responsible for administering paperwork related to leave of absence and disability, while maintaining strict compliance with employment laws and company policies.
Required Skills and Work Environment
Success in this position requires strong written and verbal communication skills, as well as thorough knowledge of employee benefits and relevant legislation. Qualifications and Physical Demands
