What are the responsibilities and job description for the Sales Representative position at Best Line Equipment?
Best Line Material Handling is looking for a full-time sales representative to join our team. The sales territory will cover Southeastern PA and Central NJ. The primary responsibility of the position is to promote the sale of all company material handling products within the designated territory. Material handling products are defined as forklifts, floor care products, and allied products. You must have equipment knowledge and the customer service and sales skills necessary to earn a significant portion of your wage based upon sales results. The position has an annual base salary plus the opportunity to earn a variable compensation component.
Responsibilities:
- Grow forklift equipment sales within a designated territory.
- Service existing accounts and establish new accounts.
- Prepare a weekly work plan and log all customer contact information in the company CRM.
- Resolve customer complaints regarding sales and services.
- Collaborate with sales team to understand customer requirements.
- Offer invoicing tailored specifically to meet the needs of the industry.
- Serve as a liaison between the customer and our operations, service, and accounts receivable departments.
- Sell our products that require extensive technical expertise and support for operation use such as properly handling equipment and suggesting our service team for repairs.
- Attend all sales calls and meetings.
Job Requirements:

- Results oriented, self-starter, with the ability to work independently.
- Ability to build long term relationships.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and follow up skills.
- Willingness to learn company products and sales techniques.
- Organized and highly motivated.
- Industry experience a plus.
- Outside sales / business to business sales experience a plus.
- Valid Driver's License
- College degree preferred.

Estimated First Year Earnings: $70,000 - $80,000
