Inner Circle Physical Therapy and Myofascial Release Center focuses on each patient as an individual. We use a hands-on approach to healing centered on myofascial release and other manual therapies. These authentic treatments add the “missing link” to rehabilitative needs restoring flexibility and reducing the “straightjacket” of restrictions affecting the patients’ bodies. By drawing on decades of experience, Inner Circle has discovered the most effective treatments are not modalities such as ultrasound, lasers, or heat therapy, but rather the power of touch and a hands-on approach to healing.
We are looking for a licensed Physical Therapist Assistant to join our practice and provide therapy and rehabilitation services to patients in our facility. We currently have 4 PTs and one PT assistants on staff all of which have been with us for 15 years due to our positive, progressive work environment. Inner Circle is a place where we are constantly learning and improving and would like to add somebody who is openminded, very interested in the manual aspect, very self-aware and willing to continuously learn. The ideal candidate is a compassionate healer who is passionate about their patient’s wellness and committed to help them find their manual skills while being active in hands on treatment and mentorship every day in their application.
Responsibilities:
· Perform ongoing physical therapy according to APTA standards of practice as well as state standards
· Carry out a plan of treatment for each patient based on Senior Physical Therapists initial and ongoing evaluations including short and long-term goals, collaborating with other staff members, and required patient and caregiver involvement
· Document patient progress according to approved medical documentation and facility documentation procedures using EMR.
· Treat with manual therapy, mobility, and strength training at current level of patient function, while setting goals to improve in these areas that are scaled to patient abilities and realistically attainable
· Keep track of patient progress, and report progress to patient, caregivers and loved ones, as well as facility staff and healthcare providers as needed.
· Assist staff members to provide a safe, clean, effective environment
Requirements:
· Degree required. New graduates are welcome, but must have interest in manual course work, or willingness to learn and practice in MFR (Myofascial Release)

· Current or acquiring Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Assistant license for state of operation
· Ability to work with patients aged 10 years and up
· Ability to work with 2 patients per hour
· Can commit to a flexible work schedule of 4 days and 2 evenings (no weekends and off Friday at 2)
