Post Closing Processor/Escrow Closer Summary:
The Post Closing Processor/Escrow Closer is responsible for overseeing the closing process of real-estate transactions in accordance with applicable regulations and internal standard operating procedures. They ensure all documents are signed, files are audited, funds are disbursed, and loans are properly recorded. The ideal candidate possesses excellent written and verbal communication skills, organizational skills, strong time management, and attention to detail. The ideal candidate is a team player with a strong desire to provide a “best in class” customer service experience.
Post Closing Processor/Escrow Closer Responsibilities:
- Review and audit loan packages for compliance, accuracy, and completeness.
- Send documents to the recording team and scan the final loan package.
- Obtain funding when required by faxing or emailing documents.
- Coordinate the disbursement of funds and confirm all fees are paid.
- Follow the transaction closing instructions from the escrow department and lenders.
- Issue short-form loan policies.
- Interact and communicate with lenders, real estate agents, clients, and internal teams to resolve outstanding issues.
- Provide exceptional customer service to our clients and internal staff members.
- Completes all other duties as assigned.
Required Qualifications and Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or higher preferred.
- 1 years of Post Closer, Escrow Officer, Title Closer, or related industry experience required; 3-5 years preferred.
- Experience working with Resware, Qualia, or other industry software is required.
- Ability to serve as a role model by maintaining high-quality standards and providing educational assistance/constructive feedback to team members.

This is a full-time, in-office position, Monday - Friday, 8:30 a.m. - 5 p.m., with an average of 40 hours per week. Overtime hours may become available and required based on business needs.
Position available in either our Sterling Heights or Farmington Hills office locations, depending on candidate preference.
