Full Stack Developer Digital

POSITION PURPOSE:

The Full Stack Digital Developer is responsible for designing, developing, and enhancing modern digital applications that support Best Doctors Insurance digital transformation strategy. This role has a strong emphasis on front end ownership while contributing to backend services within the Microsoft technology ecosystem. The position plays a critical role in delivering intuitive, scalable, and secure digital solutions that enable world class experiences for members, insureds, agents, partners, and internal operations teams. A key focus is ensuring optimal performance and exceptional user experience by leveraging state of the art technologies and development best practices.

As a hands on Mid to Senior individual contributor, the Full Stack Digital Developer works closely with cross functional stakeholders to deliver high quality, end to end digital solutions across web, mobile, and related platforms, aligned with business objectives. The role is expected to proactively implement innovative solutions that prioritize seamless user interactions, robust application performance, and the adoption of cutting edge frameworks and tools to maintain a competitive edge in the digital landscape.

ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Design, develop, and maintain high quality, responsive front end applications using React and Kendo UI.
• Build and enhance cross platform mobile and desktop applications using .NET MAUI for Android, iOS, and Windows.
• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and business logic using .NET C sharp (.NET Framework and .NET Core).
• Develop and consume RESTful APIs to support front end, mobile, and system integration requirements.
• Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and Business teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
• Optimize application performance, scalability, security, and maintainability.
• Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, technical planning, architecture discussions, and code reviews.
• Write clean, well documented, and maintainable code following internal standards and industry best practices.
• Support and evolve digital portals, mobile applications, and internal platforms across Best Doctors Insurance.
• Contribute to modernization initiatives, including migration from legacy systems to modern Microsoft technologies.
• Ensure adherence to secure coding practices, data protection standards, and regulatory requirements relevant to the insurance industry.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:

Education and Experience

• Bachelor's degree in a technology related field or equivalent experience.
• 5 plus years of professional experience in software development (full stack or front end focused).
• Demonstrated hands on experience delivering production grade applications in a Microsoft based environment.
• Experience supporting legacy .NET Framework applications while contributing to modernization initiatives using .NET.

Technical Skills

• Strong expertise in .NET C sharp.
• Proficiency with React, JavaScript/TypeScript, HTML5, and CSS3.
• Experience with Kendo UI for component rich front end development.
• Experience building cross platform mobile applications using .NET MAUI.
• Experience designing and maintaining REST APIs.
• Experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred).
• Knowledge of authentication and authorization mechanisms (OAuth 2.0, JWT).
• Familiarity with common architecture patterns (MVC, MVVM, layered architecture, microservices).
• Experience working within DevOps and change controlled environments.

Language Skills

• English and Spanish

DESIRABLE QUALIFICATIONS:

• Familiarity with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI).
• Experience with Microsoft Azure services (App Services, Azure Functions, API Management, Storage).
• Experience using Git, Azure DevOps, CI/CD pipelines, and automated testing frameworks.
• Knowledge of secure coding, identity management, and data protection practices.
• Experience in healthcare, insurance, or other regulated industries.
• Practical use of AI assisted development tools to improve productivity, quality, or solution design.
