We are seeking a real estate attorney with a strong interest in public sector work. This attorney will focus on real estate matters affecting cities, counties, special districts, and other public agencies. The ideal candidate will have experience advising public entities on property transactions, development projects, land use, leasing, acquisitions, and related real estate issues. The ideal candidate will have a background in transactions such as acquisitions, sales, leases, and development agreements, along with familiarity with land use, zoning, and CEQA/NEPA compliance. Strong drafting, negotiation, and communication skills are essential, as is the ability to work closely with public officials and staff. Candidates with five to eight years of real estate, municipal, or land use law experience are ideal. Candidates must be located in California, and must be licensed to practice in California.
The reasonably expected pay scale for this position seeking an associate with 5 or more years of experience is $137,000 - $195,000. The actual salary within that range will depend on the selected candidate’s years of practice and experience. We encourage all interested candidates to apply.
