Key responsibilities
- Take ownership of residential architectural projects, leading design development and construction documentation
- Collaborate closely with the principal architect and project managers throughout all project phases
- Produce detailed, high-quality drawings and specifications with strong attention to detail
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, balancing priorities and deadlines effectively
- Participate in client meetings, city presentations, and coordination with builders and consultants
- Proactively identify opportunities to improve processes and contribute to the studio’s collaborative culture
- Communicate clearly and independently while seeking guidance as needed to ensure design intent and quality standards are met
Skills and experience
- 4 years of professional architectural experience, preferably with a focus on residential projects
- Strong proficiency in AutoCAD and Revit, with the ability to produce detailed construction documents
- Experience in high-end custom residential design, including working with historical homes and intricate detailing
- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with strong organizational skills
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with clients, builders, and team members
- Self-motivated with a proactive, take-initiative approach to work and problem-solving
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, open studio environment with a collaborative and energetic team culture
