Convenience Store Manager
Berry Oil is looking for a dependable, motivated, and Convenience Store Manager to oversee our convenience store locations in Salmon.
Job Responsibilities:
- Oversee the daily operations of both store locations
- Hire, train, schedule, support, and supervise employees
- Assign daily responsibilities and provide direction to the team
- Provide professional customer service and handle customer concerns
- Ensure register transactions, cash handling, and deposits are completed accurately
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe stores inside and outside
- Ensure employees follow company policies and procedures
- Complete daily paperwork, invoices, deposits, and computer tasks
- Monitor inventory levels, place orders, and verify deliveries
- Maintain product displays, pricing, signs, and promotions
- Review store sales and identify ways to improve performance
- Complete fuel price changes as directed
- Assist employees at the cash register as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous retail, customer service, or leadership experience preferred
- Dependable, organized, and able to support employees at both locations
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Comfortable learning registers, computers, and inventory systems
- Able to make decisions and handle day-to-day store concerns
- Reliable transportation between both Salmon locations
- Ability to work varied hours based on business needs
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds
- Ability to climb ladders and reach merchandise throughout the store
- Ability to bend, squat, and perform other physical duties required for store operations
Work Environment:
This position includes work inside and outside the stores in different weather conditions. The stores can be fast-paced during busy periods.
Pay: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
