Business Development - Civic
1. Event Coordination and Networking
- Schedule and register all networking events and maintain an updated calendar.
- Manage the networking calendar to ensure timely follow-ups and participation.
- Coordinate meetings and lunches with new contacts to strengthen relationships and explore opportunities.
- Assist in event logistics and management, including preparation of materials and post-event follow-ups.
- Attend events with Ahmad to learn about the business, network, and meet industry partners.
2. Client Relationship Management
- Support the creation of an existing client Business Development (BD) plan, including key outreach strategies.
- Help maintain consistent follow-ups with clients and consultants to nurture relationships.
- Assist in preparing client meeting materials such as presentations, handouts, and follow-up summaries.
3. CRM Management and Data Tracking
- Manage the CRM system to log new pursuits, track pursuits, interactions, and ensure data accuracy.
- Generate regular reports on pipeline activities, leads, and hit ratios.
4. Market Research and Lead Generation
- Conduct daily lead generation research to identify potential opportunities.
- Perform mining of industry data to uncover insights into trends, competitors, and market needs.
- Gather information on new agencies, architects, and consultants for targeted outreach.
5. Proposal and RFP/RFQ Support
- Assist with RFQ/RFP data extraction and ensure compliance with requirements.
- Support the preparation of Statements of Qualifications (SOQs), proposals, and other submissions.
- Review and edit content for consistency and clarity, incorporating visual elements when needed.
6. Administrative Support
- Prepare a weekly summary of BD activities, including leads, events, and follow-ups.
- Maintain an organized calendar of deadlines, events, and project milestones.
- Track, organize, and attend pre-bid job walks.
- Help organize team outings and engagement activities for all Civic COE employees to foster team spirit and collaboration.
7. Strategic Development and Learning
- Participate in meetings and discussions to understand the Civic COE’s strategy and goals.
- Work with Ahmad to identify potential growth areas and strategic initiatives.
- Contribute to brainstorming sessions for improving BD strategies.
