Position: Speech-Language Pathologist for Summer School Program
Reports To: PPS Director, Principal, and/or Designee
Work Year Days:11
Work Hours: 9-noon
Educational/Training/Experience/License Required:DESE Certified Speech-Language Pathologist
Accountability Objective:Provide direct Speech- Language Services to students
Responsibilities:
DESE Certified Speech-Language Pathologist needed for Berlin-Boylston Extended School Year Program to work with students ranging 3-18 years old.
Dates:
July 7- August 6
Student hours 9-noon
Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday
SLP is need 2 sessions per week
Location: Tahanto Regional MS/HS
- Use IEP goals to deliver direct Speech-Language Services to students ages 3-18
- Through a language-based teaching approach, provide small group and 1:1 instruction which is highly structured and focuses on oral and visual modalities to support language processing and production
- Provide assistive technology /augmentative communication consultation and training geared toward individual needs as needed
- Conduct parent consults and/or trainings as needed.
- Provide consultation for staff as needed.
