Medical Front Desk

Berkeley Eye Center has been a vision care leader in the Greater Houston area for over 60 years. We continue to see growth in a number of locations and patient volume.

We are currently searching for a Bilingual front desk person for Check-In/Check-Out for our Pearland Office.

Qualified candidates will have 2 years of medical office experience that has included patient check-in/check-out, appointment scheduling, insurance verification and answering phones in a professional manner. Fluency in English & Spanish is preferred.

Ideal Candidates provide excellent customer service through friendliness competency, flexibility and dependability. Good communication skills and integrity are a must. Previous experience in vision care environment is a big plus.

Typical Hours of Operation:
Monday -Thursday 8 AM–5 PM
Friday 8 AM–2 PM

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist patients at the front desk, ensuring a welcoming environment.
• Schedule appointments and manage patient records efficiently using EHR systems.
• Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations.
• Process medical collections and verify insurance information as needed.
• Collaborate with medical staff to ensure smooth office operations and patient flow.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.50 - $19.85 per hour
