Position Overview:
The Academic Coach supports teachers in implementing best practices in the classroom and improving student outcomes. This role involves providing professional development, modeling teaching strategies, and assisting in curriculum alignment.
Key Responsibilities:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to communicate effectively; sit, stand, walk, and use hands to handle or feel objects, tools, or controls. The employee is frequently required to reach with hands and arms and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
Work Environment
This position operates in a professional school environment. The role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and instructional materials. Noise level is typically moderate but can be higher during student-centered activities or events. Occasional local travel for school-related functions may be required.

- Model effective teaching strategies and techniques for teachers.
- Assist in the implementation of school-wide initiatives to improve academic achievement.
- Analyze student data to inform instructional decisions.
- Lead professional development sessions for teachers and staff.
- Collaborate with teachers to develop strategies for addressing students' learning needs.
- Any other duties as assigned.
- Master’s degree in education or related field.
- Valid South Carolina teaching certification.
- Experience in teaching and instructional leadership.
- Strong communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.

Salary : $60,000 - $69,710
