Office Accountant / Bookkeeper (QuickBooks Online Specialist)
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented professional to take immediate ownership of office financial operations that require cleanup and ongoing management.
This role is ideal for someone who can step into a fast-paced environment, correct existing issues, and establish efficient, reliable processes moving forward.
Key Responsibilities:
- Organize and reconcile 4 months of backlogged office and financial records
- Manage and maintain accounts receivable, including invoicing and collections
- Accurately post payments and apply them to customer accounts
- Prepare and complete bank deposits and ensure proper recording in QuickBooks
- Perform regular bank and account reconciliations
- Review existing records for discrepancies and correct errors
- Maintain organized digital and physical filing systems
Required Qualifications:
- Extensive, hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online (required)
- Strong understanding of accounts receivable and payment processing
- Proven ability to clean up and organize disorganized financial records
- High attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to work independently and take initiative without constant oversight
Preferred:
- Prior experience fixing or rebuilding accounting systems
- Strong problem-solving skills and process improvement mindset
