Location: South Sa, Francisco

Term: 6-month contract with possible extensions based on performance
Shift: M-F 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
Requirements: HS Diploma or GED / 1 years of experience in Shipping, Receiving, Inventory, Material Handling in Warehouse

Position Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Shipping Specialist to support shipping operations within a dynamic R&D environment. This role involves handling sensitive materials, including hazardous and temperature-controlled shipments, while ensuring compliance, accuracy, and efficiency in all logistics processes.
Key Responsibilities:
· Inspect and pack R&D samples, including hazardous and temperature-sensitive materials
· Process both domestic and international shipments, including documentation and proper packaging
· Receive incoming samples, packaging components, and office supplies at the shipping hub
· Manage packaging material inventory and coordinate supply orders
· Monitor incoming sample inventory and report discrepancies promptly
· Operate material handling equipment safely and effectively
· Perform daily shipment tracking and tracing
· Provide support to Business Shipping and Campus Receiving teams as needed
Required Qualifications (Must-Have):
· 0–2 years of relevant experience
· Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
· Excellent communication skills
· Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
· Proficient in computer systems, including Microsoft Office
· Familiarity with warehouse and inventory systems is preferred
· Ability to lift up to 50 lbs
