Location: Londonderry, NH

Term: 3-month contract with possible extensions or permanency
Shift: 2nd Shift Monday–Friday, 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM

Job Description:
The Material Handler is responsible for the timely and efficient movement of materials within a fast-paced production environment. This includes receiving, handling, storing, and shipping materials while maintaining inventory accuracy and adhering to all safety, quality, and company policies. This position focuses on routine tasks and follows established procedures. The role requires limited judgment and decision-making, with work performed under limited supervision and detailed instructions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform physical activities related to unloading, storing, picking, labeling, packaging, and shipping materials.
- Assemble company products into complete packages, including but not limited to software, medical or pharmaceutical products, PC boards, accessories, manuals, operating instructions, and data sheets.
- Perform additional packaging tasks such as labeling, operating small production equipment, inserting manuals into binders, counting and sorting items, and forming or breaking down boxes for final product.
- Maintain accurate records as required to comply with government and company standards.
- Perform basic computer transactions and scanning activities to receive, put away, transfer, kit, ship, or return materials.
- Conduct cycle counts and record results in accordance with site procedures to ensure inventory accuracy.
- Operate material handling equipment (MHE) safely and efficiently.
- Provide support to production operations and meet customer requirements.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment while meeting productivity metrics.
Requirements:
· Ability to sit and use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls.
· Ability to stand, walk, reach with hands and arms, and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
· Ability to lift, move, and carry products weighing up to 50 pounds.
· Exposure to moving mechanical parts, vibration, and moderate noise levels.
· Safety shoes with impact and compression protection are required.
· High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) required
· Associate’s Degree preferred
· 1–3 years of related experience preferred
Skills Required
· Basic working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook).
· Experience performing basic computer transactions and scans for receiving, put-away, transfers, kitting, shipping, or returns.
· Ability to read, understand, and follow written procedures.
· Strong verbal and written communication skills.
· Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
· Ability to complete required training and certifications and safely operate departmental MHE.
· Demonstrated commitment to safety and security procedures.
Beneficial
