Location: Tucson, AZ

Term: 6-month contract with possible extensions based on performance
Shift: 1st Shift: Monday–Friday, 6:00 AM – 2:300 PM
Requirements: HS Diploma or GED / 2 years of Manufacturing Experience and regulated environments (GMP, FDA, ISO) is preferred

Position Overview:
The Associate Manufacturing Operator plays a key role in supporting production operations by ensuring the reliable manufacturing of products and supplies. This position is responsible for operating automated equipment and systems to perform a variety of tasks related to assembly, printing, filling, labeling, and kit packaging. This is a sedentary role primarily performed at a desk and station printer, focused on printing jobs and labels. The position serves as a temporary backfill while a team member supports an additional project. This is an essential role that may require availability on weekends, holidays, and during emergency or exceptional conditions.
Key Responsibilities:
Production
- Execute assembly, filling, labeling, and packaging processes in accordance with manufacturing records and standard operating procedures.
- Operate equipment of varying complexity to produce intermediates, instruments, and final kits while meeting production targets.
- Perform basic transactions in regulated systems (e.g., SAP), including receiving, processing, and confirming materials.
- Ensure proper material flow and availability throughout production.
- Contribute to end-of-shift reports and shift handoffs.
Safety & Quality
- Follow all safety protocols to maintain a safe and compliant work environment.
- Identify, report, and escalate unsafe conditions, incidents, or near misses.
- Perform required tasks within quality systems to meet organizational quality objectives.
- Maintain audit readiness (OSHA, FDA, QSR, GMP, ISO standards).
- Ensure accurate system transactions for material traceability and inventory control.
- Support NCR investigations, rework activities, and corrective actions.
- Maintain at least 95% compliance with required training.
Continuous Improvement
- Participate in 6S activities and maintain an organized work environment.
- Follow standard work and meet established cycle times.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements using lean methodologies.
- Participate in shop floor tier meetings and improvement initiatives.
Teamwork & Collaboration
- Collaborate effectively with team members across shifts and functions.
- Communicate proactively to ensure production goals are met.
- Support team objectives and contribute to a positive work environment.
Required Qualifications:
· High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
· Previous manufacturing or production experience is a plus.
· Experience in regulated environments (GMP, FDA, ISO) is preferred.
· Basic computer skills and ability to learn systems such as SAP.
· Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
· Dependable, reliable, and able to follow instructions consistently.
