Schedule: Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM
Note: This is a W2 only role — C2C and C2H will not be considered.
Role Overview
BEPC is actively seeking a Assembler Associate II to support our client’s manufacturing operations in Abbott Park, IL.
This position plays an important role in ensuring manufacturing equipment, glassware, tanks, filters, and sterilized materials are properly cleaned, prepared, documented, and available to support production requirements. The ideal candidate has experience in a GMP-regulated manufacturing environment and demonstrates strong attention to detail, documentation accuracy, safety awareness, and the ability to adapt to changing production priorities.
Key Responsibilities
- Support day-to-day service center and manufacturing operations in a GMP-regulated environment.
- Clean, prepare, assemble, and sterilize manufacturing equipment, glassware, tanks, filters, and related materials.
- Operate autoclaves, washers, sterilization systems, and other applicable processing equipment.
- Ensure equipment and materials are prepared accurately and available according to production schedules.
- Complete required production documentation and records accurately and on time.
- Follow established operating procedures, work instructions, GMP requirements, and quality standards.
- Support inventory control, material handling, and Kanban activities as required.
- Maintain clean, organized, and compliant work areas.
- Identify and communicate equipment, material, documentation, or process issues.
- Troubleshoot routine operational issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
- Collaborate with manufacturing and other departments to meet changing production requirements.
- Participate in safety, quality, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Support training and cross-training activities as needed.
- Maintain compliance with applicable regulatory and company requirements.
Qualifications Required:
- High School Diploma or GED.
- 1–3 years of manufacturing, production support, service center, warehouse, or operations experience preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
- GMP-regulated environment experience required.
- Production documentation and compliance experience required.
- Experience following operating procedures, work instructions, and quality procedures.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Strong documentation and record-keeping abilities.
- Basic math skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
- Strong organizational and time-management skills.
- Ability to prioritize responsibilities in a fast-paced production environment.
- Troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in medical device, pharmaceutical, biotechnology, food, or another regulated manufacturing industry.
- Experience operating autoclaves, sterilization systems, washers, or automated manufacturing equipment.
- Experience cleaning and preparing manufacturing equipment, tanks, filters, and glassware.
- Knowledge of contamination control and GMP practices.
- Experience with inventory management, Kanban, and material handling.
- Experience using MES, AMS, SAP, AMM, or similar manufacturing systems.
- Experience participating in continuous improvement, safety, or quality initiatives.
- Training or cross-training experience.
- Additional technical training or manufacturing certifications.
- Customer-service mindset when supporting internal manufacturing teams.
