Document Control Specialist
- Manage internal and external product documentation including BOMs, Gerber files, assembly/test instructions, and work instructions.
- Create and maintain revision-controlled manufacturing documentation using data integration software, ensuring accuracy and data integrity.
- Assign internal component numbers, draft assembly drawings, and generate machine programming data from CAD files.
- Coordinate and implement Engineering Change Notices (ECNs) and document change processes.
- Collaborate with engineering, quality, manufacturing, and program management teams to keep documentation compliant and up to date.
- Organize new product kickoff meetings and manage documentation release schedules to align with production builds.
- Ensure compliance with industry and customer standards (ISO 9001, IPC, RoHS, etc.).
- Support audits by preparing and providing accurate documentation and contributing to process improvements.
- Utilize ERP systems (SAP Business One preferred), CAD/drawing software (AutoCAD, GC Prevue), and data integration tools (Aegis Factory Logix).
- Associate degree in Electronics/Engineering/Manufacturing preferred, with 5 years in documentation/product data management in a manufacturing environment.
