About our property: Skamania Lodge is a Pacific Northwest resort set on 175 acres, featuring treehouses, glamping, golf, ziplining, a spa, and multiple restaurants. With over 22,000 sq. ft. of event space, it’s a premier destination for retreats, conferences, and celebrations. #PGH-SKL What you will have an opportunity to do: Maintain daily sanitation log for both dish machine and manual pot washing sink. Clean and sanitize all dish ware, pots, pans, and glass ware either by hand or by using the dish machine. Ensure all chemicals are at sufficient levels in the dish machine. Be energy conscious and turn off lights when not in use, keep water faucets turned off and report any leaks to supervisor or manager on duty. You will be a key player in safety by paying close attention to specific high traffic areas to avoid accidents, slips, trips, and falls. Use proper dishes and glass racks to ensure proper cleaning and avoid chips, cracks, or breakage of small wares. Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary environment. Can learn different tasks within the kitchen and develop new skills. Be a part of a team and assist in other areas when business levels dictate. Properly recycling all cardboard using the compactor. What are we looking for? Ability to work on feet for most of the shift Ability to obtain a Washington Food Handlers Certification Ability to work various days and shifts including weekends and holidays This role starts as a seasonal position, with the opportunity to be considered for a year-round position after 90 days, based on performance and business needs.
