Certified Maintenance Technician HVAC

BeMore Staffing is seeking Certified Apartment Maintenance Technicians for a temp-to-perm assignment at an apartment community. Qualified candidates will have hands-on experience in apartment maintenance, construction, plumbing, electrical work, and general repairs. HVAC experience and/or EPA certification is highly desirable. Applicants must have their own tools and reliable transportation. Must have proof if EPA, Type 1, 2, 3, Universal or other certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform general maintenance tasks, including electrical work, plumbing, appliance repairs, carpentry, masonry, and painting
  

• Repair and maintain structures such as showers, sinks, appliances, doors, cabinets, walls, and building exteriors
  

• Deliver excellent customer service to clients, residents, and team members
  

• Respond promptly and professionally to resident service requests
  

• Prepare units for new move-ins, ensuring all standards are met
  

• Execute annual preventative maintenance programs
  

• Perform grounds maintenance, including debris pickup, sweeping, and light landscaping as needed
  

• Assist with special projects as assigned by management
  

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of 6 months of experience in apartment maintenance or a similar environment
  

• Experience in unit make-ready, apartment repairs, and basic groundskeeping
  

• HVAC experience and certification preferred
  

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
  

• Possess basic maintenance tools necessary to perform daily tasks
  

• Strong organizational skills and ability to work independently or as part of a team
  

• Apartment Maintenance: 1–2 years
  

• Property Maintenance: 1–2 years
  

• HVAC: 1–2 years (preferred)
