Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Fulltime Caregiver to provide exceptional support and assistance to individuals in need of personal care, companionship, and daily living assistance. Duties

• Assist residents or patients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support
• Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, pulse, and temperature to track health status
• Administer medications following prescribed care plans while adhering to HIPAA regulations for patient privacy and confidentiality
• Support residents with meal preparation, feeding, and ensuring proper nutrition according to individual dietary needs
• Conduct patient observation to identify changes in condition or behavior, reporting findings promptly to healthcare professionals
• Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts or resident lifts safely for heavy lifting and transfer tasks
• Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light cleaning duties and ensuring sanitation standards are met
• Assist with specialized care such as Alzheimer’s care, dementia care, memory care, hospice care, or working with individuals with developmental disabilities or autism
• Follow detailed care plans designed by healthcare teams to ensure personalized support for each individual
• Support social engagement activities to promote mental stimulation and emotional well-being

Requirements

• Proven experience in home & community care, assisted living, nursing homes, or long-term care environments
• Knowledge of patient monitoring techniques and vital signs measurement
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is required; additional certifications such as HIPAA compliance are preferred
• Experience working with individuals with disabilities or special needs including Alzheimer’s disease or dementia is highly desirable
• Ability to perform heavy lifting safely using appropriate equipment like Hoyer lifts or resident lifts
• Strong observational skills for patient safety and health status updates
• Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with healthcare teams and families
• Compassionate attitude combined with a proactive approach to caregiving responsibilities
