Job Summary
The CAD Drafter will create accurate, standardized fabrication drawings for our belting products. This role is essential to improving clarity, reducing rework and scrap, and supporting fast, high-quality production. What You'll Do:
- Produce 2D/3D drawings and models for belting products using SolidWorks and other CAD tools.
- Collaborate daily with Inside and Outside Sales, Order Management, and Production Operations to ensure drawings reflect customer requirements and manufacturability.
- Create and maintain templates and drawing standards to drive consistency and reduce quality issues.
- Keep drawing files organized with strict naming and storage processes to support a rapidly expanding library and play a key role in shaping and continuously improving these systems.
- Translate customer inputs into clear, manufacturable drawings.
- Support Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement across engineering and production.

What You Bring:
- Associate's degree in Drafting, CAD Technology, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- Proficiency in SolidWorks and/or AutoCAD.
- Ability to create, read, and interpret mechanical drawings.
- Strong attention to detail and a positive, self-directed work style.
- Willingness to learn manufacturing processes and industry standards.
