Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic Food and Beverage Assistant Manager to join our team in Florence. In this role, you will be responsible for overseeing daily operations of food and beverage outlets while ensuring exceptional guest service and operational efficiency.
- Manage and supervise daily food and beverage operations, ensuring high-quality service standards
- Oversee staff management including hiring, scheduling, training, and performance evaluation
- Monitor and forecast departmental profit and loss, creating detailed financial reports
- Develop and maintain menu concepts while ensuring food quality and presentation standards
- Direct and motivate both front and back of house teams to deliver exceptional guest experiences
- Conduct regular inventory management and maintain proper product supply levels
- Investigate and resolve guest complaints regarding food quality or service
- Collaborate with purchasing team to make informed decisions on equipment and supplies
- Implement efficiency improvement initiatives for both front and back of house operations
- Ensure compliance with all food safety regulations and company policies
Qualifications
- Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience in food and beverage operations
- Must be {AGE} of age or older
- Demonstrated knowledge of food and beverage service standards, products, and presentations
- Strong financial management and budgeting skills
- Excellent leadership and team management abilities
- Superior customer service and communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities
- Ability to work extended hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand and walk for extended periods
- Must be able to obtain and maintain required food safety certifications
- Experience in inventory management and cost control
- Demonstrated ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
