Quality Assurance Supervisor
Responsible for supervising compliance and execution of all facility food safety and food defense programs and practices (Food Safety, Pest Control, SQF, HACCP and Food Defense) to ensure that food products meet legal and food safety standards set by Company, Customer and regulatory authorities. This position provides leadership and instills regulatory awareness and commitment to safe quality food practices.

Assist Manufacturing to Meet Goals
Knowledge of Food Microbiology
Knowledge of Microsoft Office
Plant Data Management
Warehouse Management Programs
Able to Teach, Train Critical Positions hourly to Managers
Resource to Manufacturing, R&D – All Other Functional Groups
Attention to Detail
Train Facilitators & Operators to be more Proactive to Finding and Correcting Errors
Knowledge and Enforcement of Company Policies
Knowledge of Industry Policy & Standards
Knowledge & Enforcement of Regulatory & Auditory Guidelines
Risk Assessment
System Audits
Microbiological Risks
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s Degree- Food Science, Microbiology or related field
5 years’ experience in a fast paced USDA/FDA Food Plant
Consider combination of experience with related coursework 7 years
Excellent problem solving and decision making skills
Strong organizational skills
Work Environment:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to a general manufacturing environment and on-going noise exposure.
