What are the responsibilities and job description for the Meat Cutter / Food Production position at BELLINGAR PACKING?
We are seeking a Meat Cutter to join our team at Bellingar Packing. We will provide all the training necessary for this position. As a Meat Cutter, you will be responsible for cutting and preparing various types of meat products.
Duties:
- Run our machines (band saw, grinders, and burger/patty machine) with efficiency and understanding of the machine.
- Learn the basic math to properly process each order correctly
- Cut, trim, and portion meat according to customer specifications
- Prepare meat products such as steaks, roasts
- Maintain the cleanliness and organization of cutting tools and the work area
- Adhere to food safety guidelines and regulations
Skills:
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong attention to detail to ensure accurate portioning and packaging
- Proficiency in using knives and other cutting tools safely
