Title of position: Clean up Crew Member- Cleaning

Cleaning Crew Members are expected to disinfect and sanitize the building in accordance with the USDA sanitation regulations. This is a building in which animals are butchered for consumption. Cleaners must remove all traces of fats and proteins from equipment after each processing day. They will clean these leftovers using high water pressure, heat, and intense detergents. Must be self-motivated, keep on task while working alone, and complete a checklist of duties nightly.
Description of responsibilities: (Must be 18 or older)
· Clean all processing rooms and meat processing equipment at the end of the day according to USDA sanitation rules.
· Washing lugs, bowls, and other tools used each day thoroughly.
· Taking care of equipment and tools and setting the room up for the next day
· Knowledge of cleaners and other tools used to clean the equipment
- Follow instructions from supervisors or sanitation specialists
