Duties
- Prepare and cut meats using proper knife skills and meat cutting techniques to ensure quality and presentation.
- Package meat products efficiently while maintaining freshness and adhering to food safety guidelines.
- Assist customers at the counter by providing product knowledge, answering questions, and offering friendly service.
- Maintain cleanliness of workstations, tools, and display areas in compliance with health regulations.
- Restock displays regularly to ensure availability of fresh meat products and attractive presentation.
- Follow all food handling procedures to prevent contamination and ensure safe food practices.
- Support inventory management by receiving deliveries, verifying orders, and organizing stock.
Experience
- Previous experience in food production, meat cutting, or kitchen environments is highly preferred.
- Familiarity with food preparation techniques and food safety standards within the food industry.
- Hands-on experience with knife skills, meat cutting, packaging, and food handling is essential.
- Restaurant or culinary experience that demonstrates attention to detail and customer service skills is a plus.
- Knowledge of food industry regulations and best practices for maintaining hygiene standards.
- Strong communication skills to assist customers effectively and work collaboratively with team members.
