Job Summary
Under the direction of the Principal, the Athletic Director provides leadership, coordination, and oversight of the interscholastic athletic program for Mayfair Middle/High School, supporting both middle school and high school athletic activities. This is a certificated teaching position with assigned classroom duties. The Athletic Director will teach a specified number of courses, including Athletic Physical Education, based on credential authorization and district needs. This position promotes academic achievement, sportsmanship, equity, student wellness, and full compliance with CIF, district, and state regulations while also supporting the development and alignment of middle school and high school athletic programs.
Requirements / Qualifications
• Successful classroom teaching experience. • Demonstrated knowledge of CIF rules and regulations. • Experience coaching interscholastic athletics. • Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. • Ability to supervise multiple athletic programs simultaneously. • Ability to establish effective working relationships with students, staff, parents, and community members. • All requirements are to be submitted through Edjoin:
