Responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly upon arrival and manage their seating preferences to optimize flow and guest satisfaction
• Handle restaurant reservation management efficiently using our table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS
• Answer incoming phone calls with professionalism, providing accurate information and taking reservations with excellent phone etiquette
• Coordinate with the service team to ensure timely seating and smooth guest flow throughout the restaurant
• Maintain organized waitlists and communicate wait times clearly to guests, demonstrating strong organizational skills
• Assist in managing guest relations by addressing inquiries or concerns promptly and courteously
• Support food safety protocols by maintaining cleanliness in the host station area and adhering to hygiene standards

Requirements

• Previous host/hostess experience or food service experience preferred, with a strong focus on customer service excellence
• Familiarity with restaurant reservation management and table management systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is highly desirable
• Excellent communication skills, including phone communication and interpersonal interactions
• Basic math skills for managing waitlists, reservations, and billing procedures using POS systems
• Strong organizational skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently during busy hours
• Knowledge of food safety standards and hospitality best practices
• Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
• A positive attitude with a passion for guest relations and creating memorable dining experiences

Pay: $23.50 - $28.30 per hour
