Finance & Accounting Analyst / Accounting Manager
About the Role
Our client is seeking a Finance & Accounting Analyst / Accounting Manager to join their Finance team. This is a senior individual contributor role supporting accounting operations and financial analysis without direct supervisory responsibilities.
The position supports month-end close and day-to-day accounting activities, including invoicing, collections, expense reporting, and cash disbursements, while also contributing to financial reporting, analysis, budgeting, and forecasting.

Primary Responsibilities
- Prepare customer invoices, monitor collections, and support working capital management.
- Review employee expense reports and support cash disbursement processes.
- Support month-end close, including journal entries, account analysis, reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Prepare internal and corporate financial reporting.
- Contribute to process improvements, reporting enhancements, and accounting controls.
- Partner with the CFO and department leaders on budgeting, financial analysis, and business decisions.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting required.
- 5–8 years of progressive accounting, finance, or combined finance and accounting experience.
- Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP, financial statement reporting, and month-end close.
- Advanced Excel and data analysis skills.
- Experience with ERP systems and finance/accounting workflows.
- Experience with invoicing, collections, expense reporting, and cash disbursements.
- Experience with account reconciliations, journal entries, account analysis, and financial reporting.
- Familiarity with budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, profitability analysis, and cash flow analysis.
- Strong analytical, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience within a manufacturing, technology, industrial, or other operational business environment.
- Experience with process improvement, reporting enhancements, or automation.
- Experience with NetSuite, Oracle, Salesforce, Expensify, Square, or similar systems.
- CPA, MBA, MS Accounting, or active pursuit of professional certification preferred.
