Assistant Controller - Manufacturing

We're partnering with a global industry-leading manufacturer to hire an Assistant Controller. This is a high-impact opportunity for an experienced accounting professional who enjoys partnering with leadership, improving processes, and working in a complex manufacturing environment. The role offers strong visibility across finance and operations with opportunities to influence key business decisions.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Support the Controller in leading day-to-day accounting operations
- Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual close, financial reporting, and GAAP compliance
- Drive process improvements across accounting systems and ERP functions
- Partner with FP&A, Treasury, AP, AR, and operational teams
- Support budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial reporting
- Coordinate external audits and strengthen internal controls
- Mentor and develop accounting staff while helping build a high-performing team
What They're Looking For:
- CPA required (or actively completing CPA exams)
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
- 4-6 years of accounting experience with a mix of public accounting and industry preferred
- Manufacturing experience strongly preferred; candidates from other complex inventory/cost accounting environments will also be considered
- Strong background in cost accounting, inventory accounting, financial reporting, and audit support
- ERP experience required (Oracle experience is a plus)
