The Manager, Food Services manages all facets of kitchen operations and oversees the “Belimo Bistro” food service team.
What You'll Do
The Manager, Food Services plays a key role in enhancing employee well-being and satisfaction by delivering exceptional meal services that go beyond typical restaurant standards.
Key responsibilities include;
Oversee daily kitchen operations in a corporate kitchen setting
Ensure timely and efficient food preparation for breakfast and staggered lunch services, serving hundreds of staff members daily.
Develop, test, and refine rotating menus and recipes to maintain variety, nutritional value, and employee satisfaction.
Generate and distribute weekly menus in both digital and printed formats
Maintain appropriate food inventories and manage orders and relationships with multiple vendor sources.
Ensure compliance with local food safety regulations and internal quality standards.
Organize catering services and manage related billing.
Hire, train, and supervise food service staff, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team.
Manage scheduling, payroll, and vacation planning for the food service team.
Support internal and external audits and maintain documentation in company compliance systems.
Operate and manage the iPad-based Point of Sale system.
Provide coffee service and maintain cleanliness and accessibility in dining areas.
Respond to email communications and collaborate with other departments as needed.
Participate in leadership development, training initiatives, and company events as needed.
Who You Are
High School Diploma or equivalent required. Advanced degree in Culinary Arts, Management or related field preferred.
3 years of experience in food service management required, corporate kitchen experience preferred.
ServSafe Manager certificationrequired.
Strong time management skills.
Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
Ability to engage professionally in meetings and collaborative settings.
Strong interpersonal and negotiation skills with internal and external contacts.
Familiarity with online food service training platforms and Microsoft Office Suite
