- Accurately process cash, credit, and digital payments using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS
- Handle food handling and cashiering duties with precision, ensuring correct order entry and transaction completion
- Assist with food preparation tasks when needed to support kitchen staff and maintain service flow
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards by bussing tables, cleaning workstations, and adhering to food safety protocols
- Upsell menu items to enhance customer satisfaction and increase sales opportunities
- Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure quick service and minimize wait times
Requirements
- Previous experience in food service, cashiering, or retail environments is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are essential
- Familiarity with POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus
- Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately and performing retail math calculations
- Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities
- Ability to stand for extended periods, perform light food preparation, and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
- Experience in quick service or fast food restaurants is advantageous but not mandatory
