Internship Summary/Objective
BELFOR Franchise Group is seeking a motivated and enthusiastic Summer Intern to support our dynamic Franchise Development department. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the fast-paced world of franchising. The intern will assist the Franchise Development team with various tasks related to lead generation, market research, candidate communication, and administrative support. This role is ideal for a student interested in business development, sales, marketing, or entrepreneurship. This position will report to the Franchise Development Administrative Manager.

Key Responsibilities
- Assist with the initial qualification and management of leads.
- Conduct market research to identify potential growth areas and competitor analysis for our various brands.
- Support the Franchise Development team in preparing materials for prospective franchisees.
- Learn about and assist with maintaining data in our CRM (Customer Relationship Management) system.
- Help coordinate and prepare for discovery days with franchise candidates.
- Assist with creating and updating reports related to franchise sales and development activities.
- Provide general administrative support to the Franchise Development team as needed.
- Gain exposure to the different franchise brands within the BELFOR Franchise Group and understand their unique value propositions.
- Participate in departmental meetings and contribute to team projects.
- Perform other duties as assigned to support the overall goals of the Franchise Development department.
- Currently enrolled in a Bachelor’s degree program, preferably in Business Administration, Marketing, Sales, Entrepreneurship, Communications, or a related field.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- A proactive and eager-to-learn attitude.
- Interest in the franchising industry and business development.
- Previous internship experience in a related field is a plus, but not required.
- Experience with CRM software is a plus.
- Duration: Approximately 10-12 weeks during Summer 2026 (specific dates to be determined).
- Hours: Part-time up to 29 hours/week.
- Location: This position will be based at our corporate office in Ann Arbor, Michigan.
