The Opportunity

We"re seeking a dynamic, hands-on Quality Manager / Engineer to take ownership of our quality assurance and quality control functions. In this critical role, you will ensure our products meet AS9100, ISO 9001, and customer-specific requirements, while driving continuous improvement across the organization.

You"ll lead a talented quality team, oversee our Quality Management System (QMS), and champion initiatives that enhance product integrity, process capability, and overall operational performance. What You"ll Do

• Lead Quality Operations: Oversee inspection, testing, and validation of materials and finished goods.
• Manage QMS: Maintain and improve our AS9100 and ISO 9001-compliant Quality Management System.
• Drive Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement defect reduction and efficiency initiatives using proven methodologies.
• Team Leadership: Mentor and develop quality inspectors, fostering a culture of accountability and precision.
• Customer & Supplier Relations: Serve as the primary contact for quality-related communications and issue resolution.
• Audit & Compliance: Conduct internal/external audits and ensure corrective actions are implemented.
• Production Support: Maintain an active presence on the shop floor and collaborate with production teams for real-time quality control.
• Cybersecurity Compliance: Support NIST 800-171 and CMMC maturity planning and reporting.
• Calibration Oversight: Manage gage and calibration systems, ensuring accuracy and traceability.
  
  

What You Bring

• Proven experience in aerospace manufacturing quality management
• Deep knowledge of AS9100 and ISO 9001 standards
• Strong leadership and team development skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Familiarity with root cause analysis, corrective actions, and quality tools
• Experience with internal/external audits and regulatory compliance
