CNC Programmer Responsibilities:
- Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot CNC programs in Esprit.
- Import and interpret models/drawings in SolidWorks.
- Program and prove out prototype parts, supporting new product introduction.
- Create setup documentation, tooling plans, and process sheets.
- Support machinists during first runs and resolve programming/machining issues.
- Optimize cutting parameters to improve cycle times, tool life, and quality.
- Ensure accuracy, repeatability, and compliance with GD&T and quality standards.
- Must be U.S. Citizen due to government contract
- High School Degree
- Experience with inspection and metrology tools including micrometers, calipers, optical comparators
- 5 years expert programming experience of 5 Axis Machining Centers using CAD CAM software Esprit required
- Expert user of CAD and 3D Modeling software - SolidWorks experience preferred
- CNC Programming certification is preferred, not required
- Knowledge of ISO 9001:2008
- Lean Experience
- Vertical and Horizontal Machining
