Maintenance Support Technician

The Maintenance Support Technician assists the Facility Manager with tasks related to relocating a manufacturing facility. This role involves dismantling and reassembling facility components including storage racks, office cubicles, and floor tiles and loading materials onto skids for safe and organized transport. This role requires strong attention to safety, the ability to perform physical labor, and the flexibility to support general maintenance activities as needed.

Are You Looking to:

• Support facility relocation activities by dismantling, labeling, staging, and reassembling components such as storage racks, shelving, office cubicles, workstations, and raised/floor tiles.
• Load, skid, wrap, and secure materials for transport to ensure safe, organized movement and to prevent damage.
• Operate and safely use hand and power tools (e.g., drills, impact drivers, saws, wrenches) to complete teardown and reinstallation tasks.
• Assist with basic facility maintenance as needed (minor repairs, painting, patching, mounting, moving equipment/materials).

Are you Ready To:

• Maintain a clean and safe work area using 5S / housekeeping practices; remove debris and dispose of waste properly.
• Follow all safety policies, including use of PPE, lockout/tagout awareness as applicable, and safe lifting/material-handling practices.
• Communicate status, issues, and material needs to the Facility Manager and support coordination with internal teams and external movers/contractors.
• Perform other duties as assigned to support relocation timelines and facility needs.
