Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist

The Senior CNC Programmer/Machinist willgenerate programs for all new components and new machines to cost effectively produce high-quality products in a timely basis that meet customer requirements, and ensures programs are under strict revision control. Setup, operate, program, and trouble-shoot current machines and new technology. Provides input to Engineering and Management staff on process, tooling, and equipment issues. Provide solutions for programming and setup issues on manufacturability of new parts. Willingness to train other Machinists, providing on-the-job training on all aspects of machining. Provide leadership to developing machinist.

Are You Looking To:

• Perform complex setups from programs on machines to ensure that completed parts conform to print and process specifications.
• Determine program edits required to adjust speeds and feeds in order to machine parts properly and efficiently.
• Accurately inspect finished parts using microscopes, tool maker's scope, micrometers, OGP, gage pins, thread gages, indicators, calipers or other equipment.
• Adjust machine off-sets to achieve required tolerances.
• Maintain adherence to production schedules and ensure quality inspections are completed in accordance with established procedures, resulting in a limited amount of Non-conforming Material Reports (NMR).
• Assigned work area, tools and gauges will be clean, and kept neat, safe and orderly at all times.
• Performs routine maintenance.
• Maintain a positive work atmosphere by communicating in a manner that interfaces well with customers, co-workers, and management members.
• Continually monitor manufacturing methods, processes and procedures to ensure departmental goals are met while maintaining or improving cost competitiveness, which includes identifying, recommending, and implementing necessary improvements.
• Follow and continually monitor established safety procedures to assure a clean and safe work environment is promoted and maintained.
• Uses basic statistical concepts on a regular basis.
• Assumes other projects and responsibilities as directed.

What You'll Need:

· AAS Degree or Diploma in Computer Integrated Manufacturing or related discipline; or

· 10 plus years relevant experience in a Machining environment or an equivalent combination of education and experience.

· Must be a US Citizen or Permanent Resident.

Compensation range of $31.75- $38.72 hourly. The compensation offered will take into account internal equity and may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors
