Director of Finance, Connectivity North America

The Director of Finance, Connectivity North America is the end-to-end finance leader and the Connectivity North America General Manager's principal finance partner. The role provides forward-looking insight, strategic and operational decision support, and performance leadership to drive revenue growth, margin expansion, productivity, working capital discipline, cash, and profitable operational results.

The position also owns the accounting and close foundation required for reliable financial management, including accurate and timely reporting, sound controls, process discipline, and development of the finance team. The Director builds forecasting, key performance indicator (KPI), performance-management, and business-partnering capabilities that improve visibility, accountability, and business results.

Are You Looking To:

· Serve as the Connectivity North America General Manager's principal finance partner, providing forward-looking insight, independent fact-based financial counsel, and strategic and operational decision support.

· Partner with the General Manager and leadership team to constructively challenge assumptions, establish performance accountability, and jointly drive revenue, margin, profitability, cash, and operational results.

· Support commercial, operational, capital, and strategic decisions through rigorous modeling, scenario analysis, risk assessment, and business case development.

· Represent the Connectivity North America finance perspective in leadership reviews, planning activities, operating discussions, and assigned business initiatives.

· Support alignment with ADRS and Bel FP&A processes, standards, governance, and reporting expectations as those processes develop.

Planning, Forecasting and Performance Management

· Lead budgeting, annual operating plan support, forecasting, financial modeling, and variance analysis for Connectivity North America.

· Establish a recurring monthly business rhythm that includes business reviews, management reporting, KPI dashboards, variance analysis, and executive-ready presentations.

· Improve forecasting accuracy and forward-looking visibility into revenue, gross margin, operating expenses, working capital, productivity, cash, and profitability drivers.

· Develop practical financial and operational metrics that clarify performance, identify emerging risks and opportunities, and support timely decision-making.

· Translate financial and operational data into clear insights, decisions, priorities, and follow-through actions.

Revenue, Margin, Cost and Profitability Improvement

· Drive accountability for top-line and bottom-line results, including revenue growth, pricing discipline, margin improvement, cost management, productivity, working capital, and operational efficiency.

· Partner with Operations, Sales and Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, Program Management, and other stakeholders to identify and execute revenue, margin, cost, productivity, and profitability improvement opportunities.

· Analyze financial and operational drivers to identify emerging risks and opportunities and recommend actions that improve business performance.

· Recommend actions to improve financial performance, planning discipline, operational efficiency, and sustainable profitable growth.

Accounting, Close and Financial Reporting

· Own the monthly, quarterly, and annual close process for Connectivity North America and ensure accurate, timely, and well-supported financial reporting.

· Maintain appropriate internal controls, accounting discipline, process consistency, documentation, and compliance with Bel policies and applicable requirements.

· Lead the review of operating results, account activity, balance sheet items, and key financial risks; ensure timely resolution of material issues and clear escalation when needed.

· Strengthen accounting processes, close calendars, reconciliations, controls, and reporting practices to improve reliability, efficiency, and consistency.

· Own finance and accounting leadership for Connectivity North America within established Bel policies, delegated authority, accounting standards, and governance requirements.

· Escalate material financial, control, compliance, forecasting, or performance risks through the appropriate leadership channels.

Team Leadership and Finance Function Development

· Build, lead, and strengthen a high-performing finance team across accounting, FP&A, and business-partnering capabilities while fostering accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and high standards.

· Coach and develop employees at all levels; establish clear expectations, timely feedback, accountability, and development support.

· Establish career development, succession capability, leadership depth, and clear operating rhythms that strengthen the finance organization over time.

· Develop finance capabilities across accounting, reporting, forecasting, performance management, systems, and business partnership.

· Scale the finance team and finance organization as business needs and organizational design evolve. Direct reports and team structure will be determined by business needs and organizational design.

· Promote an ownership mindset that connects financial discipline with operational understanding and business results.

Cross-functional Partnership and Special Projects

1. Partner cross-functionally with Operations, Sales and Commercial, Supply Chain, Engineering, Human Resources, and other stakeholders.

2. Lead or support special projects, process improvements, and business initiatives requiring cross-functional financial analysis.

3. Provide financial support and exposure for larger strategic initiatives when assigned.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field.
• Progressive finance, accounting, or business-finance experience, typically including approximately 10 or more years of relevant experience with increasing responsibility. Equivalent combinations of education and experience may be considered.
• Significant finance or accounting leadership experience in a manufacturing, industrial, electronics, or similarly operational business environment, including direct exposure to plant or operations finance, standard costs, inventory, productivity, margins, and operational performance.
• Experience owning or materially supporting financial close, financial reporting, budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, KPI development, and financial modeling.
• Demonstrated ability to build, lead, coach, mentor, develop, and strengthen finance teams, finance capabilities, processes, and operating rhythms across accounting, FP&A, and business partnering.
• Demonstrated ability to establish clear expectations and accountability; develop employees at all levels; and build career development, succession capability, and leadership depth as organizational needs evolve.
• Strong analytical rigor and ability to connect financial, operational, and commercial information to actionable business decisions.
• Strong business-partnering capability, including the ability to serve as a senior leader's principal finance partner, provide forward-looking insight and decision support, and constructively challenge assumptions.
• Strong formal or informal leadership, influence, communication, presentation, and stakeholder-management skills.
• Ability to operate effectively in an imperfect or evolving systems and process environment while improving structure, discipline, and visibility.
• Ability to perform the essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation.

Preferred Qualifications:

· Manufacturing, industrial, electronics, or engineered-products business experience.

· Experience supporting multiple business units, product lines, or operating locations within a complex business environment.

· Experience improving planning processes, management reporting, KPI frameworks, or forecasting methodologies.

· Professional certification or advanced degree in a relevant discipline.

Physical Requirements:

· Ability to work in a standard office or hybrid work environment and use a computer, telephone, and other office equipment for extended periods.

· Ability to communicate effectively in person, by telephone, and through electronic communication.

· Ability to occasionally travel to Bel locations or business meetings, as required by business needs.
