Position Summary
We are seeking a Facilities Maintenance Technician to support our OEM manufacturing environment. This role is responsible for maintaining the overall facility, supporting key equipment, and ensuring a safe, efficient workplace. The ideal candidate is hands-on, mechanically inclined, and comfortable working across a wide range of maintenance responsibilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Maintain the overall facility infrastructure, including building systems and general upkeep
- Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on HVAC systems
- Maintain and support equipment such as propane forklift trucks, dock doors, and related systems
- Coordinate and manage external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services
- Perform preventative maintenance to minimize downtime and extend equipment life
- Assist with facility improvements and small projects as needed
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
- Actively participate as a member of the Safety Team, supporting a safe and compliant work environment
Required Qualifications
- 3 years of experience in facilities maintenance, preferably in a manufacturing or OEM environment
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to troubleshoot a variety of systems
- Experience with HVAC systems, forklifts, and industrial facility equipment
- Ability to coordinate vendors and manage outside service providers
- Basic electrical, plumbing, and mechanical repair skills
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working in a machine-building or OEM manufacturing environment
- HVAC certification or additional technical training
- Familiarity with preventative maintenance programs or CMMS systems
- Forklift maintenance or certification experience
